Due to administrative and processing prices, credit card is not accepted as payment for the appointment. Your credit card on file is only used to hold your appointment time and will only ever be charged if you do not show your appointment. As of January 1st, 2025, the Initial Osteopathic Assessment and One Hour Osteopathic Appointment rate will increase to $130.00 HST included. All other appointments will remain the same price for 2025. Thank you for your understanding.

It focuses on the interrelationship between the body’s nerves, vessels, organs and musculoskeletal structures to help optimize its natural healing systems. Osteopathic manual therapy includes evaluation of lifestyle factors that play a role in your health, and hands-on treatment of your body’s structures to optimize your balanced function as a whole person.


Sonya Romanowski - B.Sc. Kin, RMT, DOMP, DSc. O. Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Registered Massage Therapist

Sonya is the owner and operator of Niagara Osteopathy. She is locally grown in Niagara Falls, ON and has been involved in health care for several years, ranging from personal training and nutrition counseling to now osteopathic manual therapy and injury rehabilitation.

Sonya has completed multiple degrees, diplomas, licenses, and certificates in various health fields which gives her a broad experience and understanding for treatment. She has completed her diploma in Osteopathic Manual Therapy from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (2020), Manual Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology (2016), and undergraduate Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo (2014). She won the William Sutherland award for her research project and was also voted as the valedictorian for her graduating class and presented her speech to the Founders Day gala on November 2, 2019.

​Additionally, she has also completed the following continuing education courses to better her skills and knowledge: *Usui Reiki - Level 1 (2020) *Assessment and Treatment of the Young Baby - Levels A/B/C (2021) *Osteoarticular Energetic Impulse (2021) *The Vagus Nerve (2021) *Embryological Development and Palpation (2021)

Sonya’s treatment focus is to provide accessible, safe and effective holistic osteopathic manual therapy services to all residents of the Niagara Region. Her treatment style involves treating the body as a whole, to ensure the cause of the pain is identified and solved. Treatment techniques used include: *cranio-sacral and visceral manipulation *muscle energy techniques *fascial stretching *soft-tissue release *passive vertebral mobilizations *balanced ligamentous and membrane tension techniques.

Sonya is extremely involved in athletics and has been an athlete for most of her career. She has trained as an Olympic Weight Lifter in the 64kg class and has participated in past sports such as CrossFit, Muay Thai, Competitive Swimming, Rugby, Basketball, and Karate. She also treated hockey players from Team Canada during the IIHF 2017 world championships hosted in Buffalo, NY.
